In case anyone is getting any “bright ideas” for their children. Don’t fucking do this. It is painfully difficult to get rid of items for monetary value as compared to an inherited bank account. My Dad spent over $120k on classic sealed Hotwheels and left them to my siblings and I as “investments” rather than just adding it to his own accounts. He died unexpectedly. I spent ***8 months*** dealing with 60 year old cry babies, scammers, etc just trying to get a fraction of what they were “worth” and that’s with me already knowing how eBay/local shows work. This is absolutely the stupidest shit imaginable to do. If you want to collect Pokemon cards as an adult, then do so, but don’t do it under the guise that you’re saving for a better future for your children.
