Apologies if this is a bit too naive – I’m a MTG player who now has a son who LOVES Pokémon. And he’s seen how my MTG collection actually had some value (waaaay too much, if you ask me… it’s cardboard…)
He got a large pile from some friends, including an oversized (rainbow?) Charizard VStar.
I’ve found prices for the regular cards, but can’t seem to find any copies of a rainbow oversized one elsewhere…. Maybe it’s a fake, maybe it came with a set and it’s basically worthless.
But I figured I’d ask – do the jumbo cards also have “rare” pulls of unusual copies? Or are they just like MTG where everyone who buys the box gets the same oversized card, and the market is totally saturated, so they are just fun drink coasters.
