So I'm replaying pokemon platinum (4 gym badges in atm) and feel a bit stuck on where to take my team.
I know my 6th pokemon is going to be magnezone, but feel like my team is too fragile, so want to add a tankier option while keeping my typing-spread.
My thoughts are that if I swap gallade and haunter for alakazam and dusknoir, I get to keep my type coverage and have a fast special attacker in alakazam and the tangier dusknoir.
I'm also open to other suggestions. I know that any team can work, but I want to have as few issues as possible without having to over-level my team for the elite 4.
Also, if anyone has any name suggestions for my magnezone I'm all ears. My girlfriend named most of my team but she's visiting family for Christmas an I'm terrible at naming things 🙂
