This is by no means a put down. If you think this card looks awesome I think that’s awesome and if you pulled it then then even awesomerer! I just don’t understand the hype from a visual perspective, there’s so many other more visual appealing cards with really beautiful artwork in the SIR category. In my opinion of course. It’s strange to me that this card has become THE card.

It’s a very boring card to me. There’s so much more they could’ve done
A bunch of market manipulation and scalpers selling to each other made this THE card

I’m super iffy with Tera cards in general. I don’t really like 90% of them lol. This card is OK, it’s cute, but I don’t get the hype and don’t get me started on the insane value while there are much better cards in the set.

It’s such a mid looking card, not ugly but just absolutely nothing special about it, other than it being a Pikachu and an SIR

I pulled the Japanese Pikachu a few weeks ago.
I agree that the picture above does not look good, *but* the Japanese card up close is absolutely insane to look at. Incredibly beautiful. The texturing is next level on some of those Japanese cards.
There’s a bright aesthetic that’s not as sexy as the darkness in the other sets chase cards (moonbreon/gengar Vmax/ charizard from pf or even the magikarp) the contrast is refreshing adding a little brightness.
I like it, but I also can’t name many cards that I don’t like!
It just looks like a very happy card, a pikachu running around looking back at its trainer, what more can you ask for
