Went to Walgreens today in search of possible 151 boosters after seeing a post here earlier today about it being a potential source for them.
Didn't find 151 but I found this one sold by The Fairfield Company that had a Mew V as the cover card (I could peak at it on the side of the plastic) and a Paldean Fates booster so that was good enough for me. I was so preoccupied with peaking at the Mew card that I didn't even notice that the first booster is completely ripped open sealed in the box.
At first I thought it had to be a mistake or something because this just seems so blatant. I turned the box upside down to see if I could peak at the cards in the opened booster and I noticed that the last card is missing the QR code card and instead is just a basic pokemon and the first card is an energy. Obviously that's not the order they normally come in.
I included photos of that too. That pretty much confirmed to me that this was intentional re sealing rather than it being a manufacturing issue.
I'm obviously going to return this. Be careful with The Fairfield Company, y'all. These are being sold in major stores like Walgreens.
