Need help with how and why pokemon tcg live was deciding to handle this as they did.
I was using their "test deck" feature to play around with some cards I dont have. One of the cards was meowscarada ex whos ability lets you discard a grass energy from your hand to place 3 damage markers on a benched 'mon. When I attempted to do this to a benched mewtwo ex who had 30 health left, the app applied the damage then healed it immediately after, not letting me KO it.
I know the mewtwo ex was a tera pokemon, but meowscaradas ability isnt an attack and doesnt do damage (though its effect is to place damage markers), so that shouldn't matter, but I also had another card that did place damage markers on it successfully while it was on the bench.
