To preface I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with getting your cards graded or owning sealed product, that would be ridiculous. I love that there is diversity amongst collections and collector preferences.
My collection is just super simple. I like flicking through the old binder 🙂
Any other solely binder collectors out there?

Same and best Pokemon – Cubone
Me too. Simple binder boy
Me. However my binder probably rivals most graded and sealed collections 😅
I enjoy forming binder page themes and collecting sets in a certain way (by color or getting every umbreon card for example) more than opening packs
I love my binder. I have no desire to have cards graded or to keep product sealed
No binder for me just keep the cards in etb’s and sleeve the good ones.
I don’t have the self the control to keep products sealed
I truly cant stand graded cards
ive managed to fight my addiction demons and have 2 sealed boxes. theyre worth nothing but i like how they look😎 my other 12,000 cards in my binders, i AM binder bro🤝
I have a very small amount of sealed and some slabs. But nothing hits the same like flipping through a binder
I have both but my Roth Ira is maxed out first
no sealed, am considering getting one graded, all in binders – which i need more of haha
I sometimes use tins/metal boxes for storage. Otherwise, I use binders.
No sealed or graded cards. No binders even.
Everything is stored in long boxes. Anything of value is in penny sleeve and top loaded.
i almost had a graded card! i won a giveaway off twitch, they gladly took my address but never sent the item lol. just a binder for me!
me too! i totally understand the love of owning slabs but i’ll always prefer being able to flip through sorted pages of my binder to look at my collection. i’ve been working on getting a card of every pokemon and their forms in dex order across 3 binders and that wouldn’t be the same with graded cards i think

I have binders full of every common/uncommon/non-holo rare organized by type. I also have one of each holo/reverse holo in various binders also separated by type. I have a binder full of ex/V/VMax cards and lastly I have a binder full of Illustration Rares. I don’t have a single sealed product but I do have like 6-7 graded cards.
I also own no sealed or graded cards – just binders and deck boxes. As it should be!
Don’t get me wrong, graded cards are cool. But at the end of the day they’re less cool now bc of everyone having them and if you’re only in it for the amount they’re worth in money then you’re doing it wrong.
Glad to hear someone on here say they don’t own those things than that they do. Binders of cool cards are way better anyways OP!
I have some sealed product but it was by accident. I bought it for the kiddo, but she dun fudged up and lost Pokémon for a while. I am sitting on all three eevee evolution boxes from evolving skies. At least I was. She recently got back on track and was rewarded with the vaporeon box. I explained to her the value of it now but she DGAF and tore right into it. I mean, that’s why I bought it. She will eventually be opening the Flareon and jolteon one too. I also have a sealed brilliant stars booster box. It’s for the same purpose but she has decided to trade it with the LCS for some singles she wants when she eventually earns that.
Binder bros r best 🤝
Having a top loader binders is awesome! I was doing just slabs for a while but I feel like you can’t hold and appreciate the card as much as you can when it’s just in a top loader. It feels…closer?
Generation and art binders are all I go for. Takes the pressure off going for expensive cards and I genuinely like the art styles.
I’ve bought maybe 20 packs so far, got a greninja and raichu and a mewtwo, many more. I put every card besides energy cards in my 900 card binder. I like flipping through the various cards because I couldn’t as a child afford it.
I have no sealed product..a pack ripper through and through
not alone, and honestly the casual approach and *mostly* letting go of FOMO has been nice. The stress of trying to make money should be saved for your job not your hobby (I know kind of a grey area for LGS but that’s getting lost in the weeds to get into here).
buy cheap singles for gameplay, rip packs when you can just for fun (don’t chase, it usually ain’t worth it), find fun ways to organize your collection, make some small collecting goals you can achieve and still enjoy.
I’m just a girl, ripping every pack and keeping every card free of an acrylic prison!
The cards yearn for the binder
No sealed product no graded cards. Raw doggin Lfg!
Yup. Sealed product is just like… why? Feels like weird consumerism just having packages out to me. You can have super tasteful looking binders on a bookshelf that looks better. Grading is a scam to me. I have to pay for someone to tell me it’s worth something?
I’m with you brother. You are not alone. I can’t keep shit sealed, it must be ripped 😂
Nope I’m the same I have cards worth £500+ just sat in my set binders it’s a hobby for me not an investment well it was I’m quitting after prismatic evolutions I couldn’t get a single piece of journey together pre ordered even though I’ve never struggled before
No, I own nothing sealed and the only graded card I owned I cracked to put in a binder 😅
To each their own. As long as you enjoy what you have. 🤷♂️🤘
