This is the list of Fakemon that makes up the regional Dex of my fangame, in addition to about 300 pre-existing Pokémon. The region is inspired by Greece and the Aegean (original, I know /s), and the game has been mostly conceived as a gift for my partner; we both had a wonderful time touring Greece last year, and I wanted to reflect that in a Pokémon game. People might be asking where the many references to Greek mythology are hidden: These are mostly going to appear in the form of Mega Evolutions, which have not been implemented yet; rather, I went with the traditional Pokémon method of including animals from all over the world in spite of a region being based on a specific country/landscape. Still, some Greece-specific Pokémon can also be found; see if you can spot them.
I am relatively new to spriting, especially in Gen 2 style, so I would appreciate constructive criticism, comments, and questions.

Very interesting work, and I like the new evolutions and convergent(?) forms. Might want to give a heads up that the Pincurchin evolution might need its name reworked as it has thirteen letters, which ends up exceeding the limit.
Anyway, how many Pokémon does the region have in total (including pre-existing Pokémon)? I love when a region has a carefully curated Pokédex as it shows there was thought put into the selection. Keep up the good work!

Love the Gryphon and the Akhlut line

I really, really like these. My only complaint is that I feel as though some of the names are a mouthful/sound clunky. For example, Arctaria, Neuroark, Scrachemenid, Gingkrok, Olmfyr, Atload, etc. either don’t roll off the tongue well of they take a double take to be able to read them.
This is in contrast to Starbunkle, Eidolith, Aquadet, Reguloss, etc which flow perfectly and are really good names

My team (and nicknames) would definitely be: Glaciarundi (Felix), Sneakleon (The End), Lukapra (Batlin), Moadicine (Trousseau), Tortreas (Mizuti), Reguloss (Arseid)
KKMAN192
Really nice job, personally, I liked the completely brand new mons the most, Agroppolis and Mayfright are really cool designs imo.
Joe-McDuck

These look great! The Meowth is my favorite
Wrecked_3AI
This is insane, you are incredibly talented with this. Are they also involved with a playable game?

I think you did a great job using animals that gf either hasnt touched at all or hasnt used well (kyogre and rhyhorn are great but were definitely lacking full, nonlegendary lines of rhino and orca mons). My one issue is that the water starter doesnt read water type to me so much, especially stage 2 and 3. Hopefully hydreigon or hydrapple is in the region!

Late to the party, and I am sure you’ve already given these all considerable thought, but here are my impressions:
– the water starter seems undercooked relative to the other two
– the minymph line gaining and then losing a rock typing seems weird to me. It would be more understandable is mayflies used the rock casings, but that is caddisflies. The end result is the line jumps around on both species and typings, and seems a bit confused.
– The adorian line seems complex to me. You could have had a 3 stage with a Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian column instead
– Akhlykan sprite looks off to me. He looks a little too unnerving.
– Atload sprite looks off to me.
In general I like a lot of the names you came up with. Flammabull is the standout for me. That’s great.
