The concept for these guys is that they differ from my other two starter line's design elements. I made this to look somewhat western while the other two have the native Filipino tribal influences. See the Philippines was colonized by Spain before and just like how the Spanish culture fused with the local culture, this foreign Pokémon that was brought from different region becomes part of this region's ecosystem and even becoming one of its starter mons.
Visually, I made them look like western nobles with fancy accessories in their design. The final stage, Viperial, kinda fits because it is kinda a matador, fighting with it's sword stinger while my fire starter is a Carabao (bull).
I don't remember much of the original dex entries for these designs but the final evo is a Water/Poison type. It takes pride in it's fighting style, using it's sword stinger to play with it's opponents. It dances, waving the stinger masterfully to disorient enemies before landing the final blow. It will only use it's poison as a last resort and when it is cornered but that's when it is most dangerous because the poison is so potent, it kills you in an instant. In their kind, it is a shame to use their lethal poison because it takes away their pride in the battle.
