I just can't understand why future paradox Pokémon are all named Iron X. I mean, I guess most of them are robots/cyborgs, although I think maybe there are exceptions, but even then, Iron is not exactly a brand new technology, dating back thousands of years.
So I got this idea: what if it was a second draft cope out and they wanted to use the old apple products naming scheme? That's what I expect th idea of futuristic to be like (in the mind of boomers and genX), so like you have iPods and iPads, you would have iValliant, iThorns and iTreads, but then they wanted to avoid issues, so they added to the I to make it Iron.
There's nothing supporting this that I know of, it just seems like a possibility to me
