I’ve started my journey to draw every Pokémon!



Now, you might be saying: “But this isn’t the Bulbasaur line?” No, it’s not. I’m going to be drawing them generation by generation, randomly choosing the evolutionary line and then removing it from the list as I go. That way I get a bit more of a random assortment of Pokémon and it isn’t too same-y.

I do want to stick to the cartoony proportions and general designs of each Pokémon, but I want to draw inspiration from their real life counterparts to add in some cooler details or mix up their designs a little bit.

Anyway, first up was the Victreebel line! Pitcher plants are so dang cool and this evolutionary line really doesn’t do them any justice. I had a lot of fun and I think they actually look kind of cool, especially Victreebel

    OMG I LOVE THIS!!!!

    I love how Belsprout looks manageable, friend size and kinda friendshape. Then Weepinbell is like “ehhhh, idk about this” and Victreebel is defo not something a beginner should fuck with.

    I don’t think you’re intending to change these Pokemon’s types, but I’d like to imagine they at least gain access to some Steel type moves on Gloopy Island.
