This will either be really good or be the biggest down fall for Pokemon go
People in the group of who I play the game with have said Scopely's games include ads and 'offer' to remove the ads for a charge, if it turns out this way this will RUIN pkmn go I can guarantee that, No ads!
I hope they not will do shiny with chance of 1-4096 or anything like that anyway i think a lot of players gonna leave pogo forever
I'll stay skeptical. The moment they add, well, ads; is the moment this game is fried crsipy. Ads will ruin the game, not the experience, the game loop of catch in real time.
Imagine you manged to make it to a raid with a few minutes left, win it and the shiny arrives but OOPS a stupid add plays once it retruns to normal the time limit expries and the pokemon will have fled.
Ruined.
I have been playing daily since launch in 2016. For the first time since then, I havent played since the implementation of Gigantimax. I lost total interest, game has become a choir and cash cow. This announcement is the nail in the coffin for me. Transfering my mons to HOME. I had so much fun with this game and many memories. I guess its time.
Scopely is going to make the game better, you going to see hundreds of people running in the park again.

I already started transferring shinies. I do not like Scopely, nor how they handle their aggressive microtransactions. I didn't like Niantic, but I supported them. Scopely is genuinely a shit company.

The only thing that will stop me from playing is if they start putting ad banners and ad videos into Pokemon Go. I’m a player that puts a lot of money into the game already so I don’t mind more premium items/tickets, as long as they feel like they are worth buying. But I swear bro, the second I see in-game ads I delete the app.

They need to be smart about this. This cost them billions of dollars. Pokemon go needs to be handled better than when Niantic owned it. If they can manage that and listen to the community I'll be hopeful.

the only one to blame for selling Pokemon Go to Scopely is John Hanke and no one else because for 9 years the developers were the only ones who cared about what we wanted to see….. Scopely owns scrabblego. Lots of ads when playing unless you pay .99 a month. Hopefully pokemongo will not be operating the same way

Unfortunately Scopely is notorious for not listening to their players and what they always do is to make tons of broken promises to their community 😭.
And they've been doing that here in marvel strike force 😔 and right now we are celebrating our 7th anniversary here and doesn't feel like anniversary at all because we've been having the same event format for years and it's not exciting 😮💨.
I hope when scopely do stupid shit in Pokemon Go I hope the community go full throttle at them.

I hope ALL of the influencers reach out to Scopely to make positive changes for the future. Such as fixing the low shiny rate for GoTour after being charged $35 for all tickets.. (i only got 3 🙁 and I played entire first day, part of 2nd.) Also, making remote passes no higher than $1.25 since as a handicap player we typically can't be out all day to hit raids. Not fair to charge us double.

The deal has to close first… so it’ll be niantic’s game until sale is closed meaning it has to pass government inspection with the financial agencies…
