EVO 1 – Cuttlefly (Cuttlefish, Fly)
Inspired by the dumbo octopus and following the theme of hot-air balloons
EVO 2 – Calamair (Calamari, Air)
A basic squid body plan with more bug-like eyes that tie into EVO 3. The small helicopter-hat adds uniqueness
EVO 3 – Zeppelopod (Zeppelin, Cephalopod)
Based off of a colossal squid, general changes include the propellers turning into less significant wings and the basket that EVO 1 and 2 carry becomes more of a true body part. The bug-like eye stalks also evolve into a jet engine-like structure that is reminiscent of the water jets of octopuses
As far as design and naming goes, I feel like I’ve got this one in the bag pretty well, though I’m stumped for coloring.
