That’s one thing Niantic has done right over the years, the $2 ticket for the research/catch days is actually a really good deal. Up to 40 encounters is crazy.

I hope all these archen tasks arn’t spin a disc first to get tasks as they always fall on days that i’m not in town shopping (i live in a rural area)The two fossil events over the years i got a 2 shiny kabuto,shiny archen i got from an egg but still need another to complete it’s evolution line but i’ve never got a single shiny omanyte.😢
There was also one for the Hitmons. Definitely playing I need two shiny Archen & 1 shiny Kabuto ✨
I hope the archen are higher odds minimum 1/64 if not like 1/20 because trying to shiny hunt via research when its 1/128 is pretty damn hard and takes forever, especially when I can only play for like 2 hrs
