The first shiny I ever found was a Tentacool in Sapphire but me, being a child at the time, did not know shinnies existed and had assumed it was a glitch so I restarted my game without saving after catching it. I later learned my mistake and when the remakes came out I went out of my way to rehunt it in the same spot I found it before
