Even if its coming. Nobody say they going or will work the same as other game. Maybe the bottle cap will just randomize the iv again with perhaps min floor of 13/13/13.
Or perhaps it does increase iv of your choice but 1 bottle cap cost 10,000 coins. Come on. Nothing is free and it will never be. If its free they will lose revuene on raid pass. They arent stupid.

In Pokemon Go the existing mega Pokemon will be finished debut in this game during Kalos Tour with Mega Mewtwo X and Y. Besides one season one new mega Pokemon will debut in Pokemon Go except for winter season 2025 new mega Pokemon plus additional mega Mewtwo X and Y as Kalos Tour raid Pokemon.
New 27 mega Pokemon from Pokemon Legends Z-A add in Pokemon Go. It will take about 6 YEARS & 9 MONTHS according to a season one new mega Pokemon.
So if from spring season 2026 Pokemon Go starting to debut a new mega from Pokemon Legends Z-A, it will finish debut all mega as early as the end of 2033!!! ???

For me, Megas are doing just one thing in the game, and that is increasing the Candy XL chance for catching a Pokemon of the same type. That is why I don‘t care about new Megas, their IVs and stats in general. You don‘t get to use them in GBL anyway, and for raids they don‘t matter. Maybe for soloing.

I guess we will at least have to wait half a year after the new Pokémon game with these new mega evolutions is out, until we see one after another in Pokémon GO. They are and should be exclusive to this new game for a while.

Why you wanna work on them now? When you start working on them when mega release, you can get some more free mega energy from walking with your buddy. I dont think someone would go a lot of raids when got a hundo.

I am undecided whether to evolve my current zygarde or evolve it and start collecting cells again. I heard we are supposed to get a shiny Zygarde. My concern is as soon as I evolve my current one which has meh iv levels they will drop the shiny

Just funny enough got a hundo Froslass from research! my luck has been nuts with hundo's to my hundo machamp will be clutch for g-max snorlax (but people won't play roles i'm sure lol) to my only Dynamax passimian was duo'd to i tanked with shields and damage with my dynamax Blissey!
hopefully i'll attend a local meet up someone in NYC! did real quick for mega audino was light rainy but was nice to meet trainers in person was chill.

The leakers also told us that these Megas will pick up a new type: Mega Feraligatr – Water/Dragon (not Dark), Mega Barbaracle – Rock/Fighting, Mega Clefable – Fairy/Flying, Mega Meganium – Grass/Fairy. Also I don't think we need to collect cells for Zygarde because every Mega will surely have a raid in PoGo so if not before we can catch a Zygarde that way to use for the Mega.
