I already tried posting this earlier, and I had written 5 paragraphs on the inspirations that went into this and the ideas I have but it all got deleted because I went to a different tab on my phone and when I spend too much time on another tab, reddit gets refreshed. And it wasn't saved as a draft. Right now I'm just trying not to cry about it.
So, the gist is: sorry the drawing is so messy, I was just trying to get my idea out. And sorry that it's not very original, I was just going for a straightforward approach, like "what if gamefreak decided to add light type way earlier, like gen 4 or something".
It's supposed to be a bit like a fennec, but not in a fennekin way.
Obviously it's very similar to Espeon and such, I was struggling to make a design that stands out from the other eeveelutions. I think it looks good enough though.
The light type logo is mine but it wouldn't surprise me if this type of logo has been done before. Basically it's a sun, but it's also an eye, reflecting the eye in the dark type logo and also drawing reference to things like the eye of providence, eye of ra, and evil eye charms.
Basically, if you have any ideas for shiny color schemes or abilities, or anything, i would gladly appreciate them! 🙂
