My son (4 years old) has been into Pokémon for a while now and especially likes to ”rip a pack” every now and then.
I don’t know very much about the hobby or what to collect.
What I do know is that people regret folding their first generations ”holos”(?) to put in their wallet and what not.
He’s 4 years old and not very careful, so every time he opens a pack I sneak the ”special” ones aside and put them in a folder that he can’t find.
I do this because I want him to find the ”better” cards in good shape when he’s older and can truly understand the passion of collecting.
But I’ve been starting to feel conflicted, should I just stop collecting for him and let him play with the cards?
