Japanese teenager Hana is just trying to fit in, when one day, she ends up discovering a mysterious Poké Ball in her basement, which unexpectedly summons her to PokéPark, an island inhabited only by Pokémon… and she becomes able to understand them. Hana ends up crossing paths with an eccentric misfit Pikachu, and the two end up becoming the first true friends either of them ever had. However, PokePark is under threat from dark forces, who want to destroy the Sky Prism that protects the land. Now, Hana and Pikachu must partner up and embark on a epic journey, where they will form new bonds with a range of incredible Pokémon on their quest to save PokéPark, all while trying to find a way for Hana to return home.
