Since Decidueye changed the most of the three Hisuian starter variants, I went in a different direction with both of the others… And yes, ik Incineroar's typing is the same as Hisuian Typhlosion, but it was too perfect to pass up.
For inspirations, Incineroar was inspired by cat yokai such as the Bakeneko and Kasha, while Primarina was inspired by Otohime and partially by pearl divers… But not by much, actually.
