We’ve got a new feature to improve how we raid in Pokemon Go. The new raid planner will be a good addition to the game to help us coordinate with other players to plan when we would like to raid together. What do you guys think?

They have a lot work to do with this feature.
A lot of design choices made defeat purpose of feature ( for honest players at least). You must have a gym in radius to start planning , so you are limited to raids that you can already see in default distance.
Campfire integration also doesn't work. Even if you find a raid you cannot start RSVP in Campfire , a redirecting to game get you "walk closer to interact with Gum". Of course i WILLL walk there if somebody else is interested…
So If you have already 20 gyms in your radius like Brandon it is great. If you don't in current form this feature doesn't help very much… 🙁
I have other problem. I commute to work in other city (a lot of gyms in both cities) and want to plan a raid on my arrival near rail station. I can see on Campfire that there will be such raid. But I cannot set flare on campfire and RSVP also doesn't work.
what is that poke ball symbol over the mega lucario?
Not much of a raid planner if you can't see the times for raids for the rest of the day.
Also can't use rsvp planner for gyms beyond your field of view. It should be integrated with campfire that allows to rsvp to any ongoing and future raid for the day and regardless of distance. Esp since remote raids is now slightly expanded.
As of now, it's a start but needs a lot more work
