When does N refuses the Champion title?

Been some time since I last played any Unova Pokémon and that topic came during a conversation with a friend.
Where is that stated in the games? I was checking the scene right when we get into the Champion's room. N tells Alder "You may have the title of Champion…But you can't stop me with just a title", although I think he wasn't saying it as in "you may keep the title". It reads as "even if you're the Champion, that wasn't enough to beat me".

I'd like to delve further and compare with some japanese lines:

もう ポケモンを傷つけることも

しばりつけることもなくなる

トモダチ ゼクロムのおかげだ!

もっとも チャンピオンという肩書きではボクをとめられない

Pokémon won't be hurt or binded by anymore. Thanks to my friend Zekrom. (I guess White is the same, but changes "Zekrom" to "Reshiram"). Although, the the Champion Title won't stop me. (that sounds confuse to me). Afterwards he starts talking about Alder dead Pokémon. I'm skipping that part. What is interesting is when he says:

ボクは チャンピオンよりもはるかに強いトレーナーとして

I am by far stronger than the Pokémon Champion.

He doesn't seen himself as the Pokémon Champion. Still, nothing explicitly shows that he declined the title.

Then I guess he either never said or it's a different scene, maybe during those special recaps from BW2.

According to Bulbapedia N's article: "N is the only person who is known to have turned down the chance to become a Champion."
And Pokémon Champion's article: " If a Champion is defeated, they must relinquish their title to the victor; however, the victor can refuse the title, as N did in Pokémon Black and WhitePaldea is the only exception to this, as Champion is a permanent honorary title in the region."

So, can anyone point that out for me?
Thanks on advance!
