My ex girlfriend and I were studying in university/college and I had just came into my 20s. I was too broke to afford a Shining Gyarados back then, but it was what I had wanted to buy myself for my birthday. My girlfriend then was also too broke to buy me one, so on the night of my birthday she drew me a Shining Gyarados. Years later, I worked odd jobs and saved up enough to buy a Neo Revelation booster pack. I ended up pulling a Shining Gyarados. I had it raw in my personal collection all these years and then got it graded during the pandemic boom. It came back a PSA 10! One of my favourite cards in my collection of all time 🙂
