FOR NUMBER 5:
I posted team number 5 (Marshall Islands) last week but it got flagged and needed to be revised my the moderators. It’s approved now but if you missed it, you can find it in my page.
Heading down south is the tiny nation of Nauru. Not going to lie, this may be one of the trickiest ones to do as the nation is made up of one island, which really made me have to try and think a bit more to incorporate unique Pokemon for the team.
- Kilowattrel: The national bird is a frigate bird.
- Conkeldurr: The country is known for competing in weightlifting in the Olympics and regional competitions
- Aggron: Looks like the pillars of limestone (originally white but over time look grey) leftover from the phosphate mines which the country was known for at one point
- Mantine: Represents the ocean that surrounds the island
- Starmie: In reference to the star on the flag
- Bellossom: It’s the closest one to represent the national flower, the calophyllum flower. Though the flower’s are white, the shape is similar and the Pokemon gives off island vibes with its colors and grass skirt
Anyway, is there a different Pokemon that I should have used? Let me know and stay tuned for the next one.
