My very first Fakemons, Kumil and Kumdu !
They are Normal and Normal-Ghost Pokémons in the region of Miron, based on Korea.
Their name comes from :
– Kumi : G/Kumiho; a man-woman shapeshifter fox mythical creature. It has multiple tails, like the more known Kitsune, its 'lookalike' from Japan.
– Il : "One" in sino-korean; for its one tail.
– Du : "Two" in korean (dul) ; for its two tails, and also the fact that it's the second one in the evolution line.
– "Kumil" is also supposed to sound like "Goupil", the former french word for "fox".
I feel like I should give it a another evolution, maybe only Ghost type, but I'm not sure about it
