these are the first fakemon I’ve commissioned that aren’t a regional variant. they are based off alien encounter, lava lamps, and raves. they are light/psychic type (yes I know other people have already done the light type before, but I wanted to take my own take on it). I have no idea what to call theses guys, so if anyone has any ideas I’m all ears!

I love the design and the idea, but I think that Dark / Light type match better, the idea of UV lights that make things glow in the dark + plus aliens kidnapping people, makes them feel more like a dark type for me

Argebee (mispelled RGB) and Colosmic (color+cosmic), if they had more of the paint concept rather than light then the Steel or Psychic Poison type would work but Light Psychic is already perfect.

I could imagine them as Ultra Beasts, with the lava lamp one being a little playful thing like Poipole.

Love the designs! Very cute and fun
Name-wise, maybe drawing from the same well as Elgyem and Beeheeyem, and going with something like:
**Tieli** — from TLE, or Transient Luminous Event, a term for upper-atmospheric lighting events like sprites
**Eftiel** — from FtL, or Faster-than-Light, hypothetical technology that would allow for fast interstellar travel

These are very fun and i think almost read more artsy like paint than lava lamps to me but i think thats really fun and makes them stand out more to me to be honest. Also remind me of the games where you vacuum up little bouncy head critters and can make farms or sell them there’s enemies I think that are like a black sludge with rainbowy bits??
Not meaning that in a mean way at all ohmigosh I just realized how that sounds the things I’m comparing them to are adorable I swear!
