Apologies for my amateur art being so amateur
I’ve spent most of my life on the eastern coast of the United States, so I’ve seen a lot of seagulls; rummaging through trash, stealing people’s food, and fighting over a couple of fries in parking lots.
So I thought it would be fun to create a poison type regional variant inspired by these behaviors
Bostonian (Unovan if you prefer) Wingull
Biology:
These wingull can be found scavenging for food in dumpsters and trash cans. Due to their unhealthy diets, they have developed a toxic saliva that helps them digest their food. This saliva is also a helpful tool for fighting off any competition.
Their brightly colored feathers serve as a warning to any potential predators keeping the wingull safe.
These wingull have been seen collecting certain pieces of trash to adorn their bodies and nests, imitating the way humans dress and decorate their homes.

Pelinteer
Biology: Pelinteer have a strong sense of community and duty. They feel they have to give back to their community and so they spend their time picking up garbage and cleaning the streets.
Many people see pelinteer as a sign of a strong, loving community so wild pelinteer and wingull are often well taken care of by locals. Volunteer groups are known to work closely with local pelinteer, as they are always eager and willing to do community service.
The pelinteer have a strong digestive saliva that quickly breaks down organic material, making it perfect for composting and recycling
Pelivyrn
Biology: Pelivyrn are rarely seen. They prefer to live in dark isolated locations (abandoned warehouse, alleyways, sewers). They collect enormous quantities of trash to nest on and attack anything that enters their territory without permission, as such, no wild pokemon dares to knowingly enter a pelivyrn’s territory.
Their saliva is corrosive, capable of melting steel.
Pelivyrn’s feathers are tough like stone. It’s claws and jaw has been known to crush dumpsters all together
