The last booster pack I opened was in the late 90s or early 2000s when the fossil and jungle packs were being sold. I lost interest when the next generation came out and then later when my original collection was stolen. So I haven't paid much attention in the last 25 Years, although I know that Pokemon has totally exploded since then.
Two weeks ago I was on vacation in South Korea and came across a shop selling the Scarlet and Violet 151 packs. It caught my eye since I was only ever was interested in that first generation. Back to today after getting home and doing some googling, I bought three boxes for old time's sake. $70 per box. Thought it would be fun to rip open a bunch of boosters all at once like I always dreamed of as a kid. Back then I was always scrapping together another three bucks to get one at a time.
I told myself this was just a one time thing for some nostalgia. But I love these versions of the first gen and now I want all the full art cards!
What do you think of these pulls? I feel pretty lucky with the two Charizards. But still many more to left to find!
