So, I was playing through XY for the first time in probably 11 years (I can't believe it's been that long), and I got to around route 107. I fought the Artist Trainer Class and I immediately thought the design looked like Ed's. I couldn't find anything on any Pokemon Wiki anywhere, so I don't know if this is a deliberate reference, or an uncanny coincidence.
