Pokemon

With quite a few Pokemon having the word King in their names I wonder if we’ll get some more Pokemon that have the word Queen in their names?

Vespiquen exists too although I’m not sure why it’s spelled that way.

  3. SapphireSalamander

Tsareena technically means queen, does it count?

  4. TheSpeckledSir

Frankly I feel that Kingambit was a missed opportunity to put out another split-evolution-based-on-gender line.

The chess motifs are right there!

  5. Gregamonster

It’s annoying to me that you can’t make a full team of King pokemon without someone to trade with.

Whenever I have a female Pokémon that has king in its name I nickname it with a queen instead.

    Kingbambit becomes Queengambit

    Slaking becomes Slaqueen

    Kingler becomes Queenler

    Seaking becomes Seaqueen

You get the gist. Actually you probably got it after the first one, or maybe even before the first one.

Magikarp goes in the king pile.

    Its Japanese name is Koiking.

  8. Make another bisharp evo, make it faster than Kinggambit, call it Guilloqueen.

Finally someone not including Walking Wake just because there’s “king” in walking, IT IS NOT THE SAME THING!

  10. And Seaking is so undeserving of the name too, its a glorified gold fish with a horn, uglier and dumber looking than its pre-evolution and weak. I can think of a dozen water types on wich Seaking would be a more fitting name, it feels like they wasted a banger of a name on a lackluster pokemon.

  11. Give me a jynx evo called jynxqueen. Why the flip not?!

  12. Hyper_Drud

You’re just gonna do Vespiquen dirty like that?

  13. That’s why I name all my female Kingdra as *Queendra*. Sounds just as good, IMO.

Now I see why I haven’t checked this subreddit in forever.

Queendra, Slowqueen, Queenler, Sea Queen, Queengambit, Slackqueen.

  16. In french, Tsareena is called “Sucreine” which translate to Sugarqueen (“Suc” from “Sucre” = “Sugar” and “Reine” = “Queen”). It’s basically Sugar Mommy.

  17. DiceyDoxy

I’ll just give them nicknames replacing king for queen.

We could of had Vespiqueen but they went with Vespiquen instead lol

  18. GreyGroundUser

Female Kingler should be called Queengler.

I will not be taking questions or recommendations.

  19. Shantotto11

Technically Tsareena would fit. Her Japanese name is “Amajo” (“Jo” is Japanese for “queen”).
