Decided to begin looking through my old designs and improving the ones that need some love so here's a couple of old counterpart mon of mine i decided to redesign based on saltwater and freshwater crocs respectively. The first, Crustile is encased in thick salt making it quite a defensive mon while Gyzator is much more offensive using its “Hotspots” to super heat its water attacks into scalding steam. I'm not sure if they should be version exclusives or have a united 1st stage they both evolve from but i love how they turned out.
I'm actually considering trying to create a custom fakemon TTRPG game with my designs (and maybe other artists down the line) . I know there was a dnd pokemon game but ive never found a system that was actually…good and respected the source world and game systems. Just a musing. I wanted to see if anyone is actually interested in such a project. Let me know what you think,
