thanks brandon for this. 🙌😁
I’m broke
I've checked for like 6 months straight and haven't gotten the 99 passes box a single time
F2P here .. Struggling everyday for 50 pokicoins
750 box that has 10 egg starpiece and poffin is pret good as well. cost is exact same as the 3750 coin one but instead of incense u get poffin. so either 10 incense or 50 poffin. personally i like to get both (:
Looking for the box with pokemon storage and item storage plus some premium items for 399 coins. Is it still a thing? Or did they stop with it?
5425 coins for 99 passes box is by far the best in the game
Always buy via the India way. Wish i found out about it sooner.. Paid like 4 euro for the Go fest ticket instead of the 16 euro
I have 56000 pokecoin
Thank you for shedding light on this as they are constantly changing and producing new “deals” which gets confusing for lots of players I’m sure. Really great video idea! Glad more people know about this now!
Another thing to point out. If you are going to spend it’s usually more worth it to buy pokecoins in bulk for individual items. For example 3 premium battle passes are 250 coins but on the website you can buy them directly for $2 BUT you shouldn’t. Buy pokecoins because the price per pass is cheaper. For example $5 worth of pokecoins is 130 pokecoins per dollar whereas buying 3 passes for $2 is 125 pokecoins per dollar. If you’re buying in even bigger bulk like $20 then the pokecoin gap increases even more. Granted I don’t know the math on event day raid boxes (those usually cost $18 or $19), they might have a better price per pass. Remember to spend wisely. Companies always tend to make more expensive bundles have a ‘better’ deal. At the end of the day it’s your money and you deserve the best deal possible if you’re spending.
Now can you make a video on where to get the most coins for the cheapest price, besides going to the website. I heard there’s 3rd party websites that will give you better deals on coins than the official Pokémon go website but I heard some websites are sketchy.
I think you have to do total value of things that are sold in the shop. Passes, pieces, eggs, because you're not gonna not use the other premium items after you bought them. TMs are a waste, you get those in raids, if it was a set of Elite TMs that would be different
🤑🤑🤑
The stealordeal site is very outdated, at least with regards to Remote passes. It lists two boxes where the cost per remote raid pass is higher than 175, which is the default for the 3-pack that's always available.
hey what about the box for 6500 coins for 50 star pieces and 100 lucky eggs? is that one worth it or is the 50 50 10 just better?
Is the monthly pass good value? I normally don't buy it
To buy Box is a luxury to me 😢. Can't Maintain 50 coins daily 🙂
Pokemon should to take a new update for players who can get coins by selling items (Golden Razz Berry,TM s etc).
The 50 SP, 50(or 100) LE box has lasted me since March when I started prepping for NJ go fest.
I would need much more ticket raid remote that is 575 for x3?? ahahahaah, so this pokemon go they have to remove tickets only in the 1 to 3 star raids because they are needed to do the missions and instead 4/5 raids you can use tickets because it costs too much to spend and there are people who like to take strong and legendary pokemon, 9 years of this game have not thought this seems strange to me it means he likes to screw the money
if you’re not buying coins the bigger boxes aren’t really feasible. 5425 coins is 109 days of the maximum amount of free coins, allowing for you to miss only 25 of those coins, with 7000 requiring every coin possible from 140 days. and every time you need to get more storage that sets you back 4 days, let alone any other purchase you may need to make in that time. furthermore you need the box you want to actually be in the shop when you have the necessary coins. for these reasons i advocate the 625 box, being a far more achievable goal on free coins (haven’t looked into incubator deals, incubators are too much of a gamble, where at least with raid passes you choose the raid boss)
The only incubator box I buy is not a box, but the monthly pass that gives you 1 incubator a day for spinning a pokestop, and also lets you store 40 gifts in your bag and open 50 gifts a day.
Also, I totally agree on the best premium raid pass box from what I've seen. It's too bad you can't get a better deal on bulk remote raid passes. My mom goes through a lot of those playing with me as she lives in another state. She can't get around very well, and so I go to the raid spots and use free daily passes or rarely premium passes, but my mom always has to use remote raid passes, so it's pretty expensive.
Hey Brandon, I was wondering if u can do a video based on Pokémon go caps like catch n spin because I carnt find any videos abt the catch cap because I think I’m close but not sure
F2P here. Any items that you can get from spinning stops are only filler items and inflate the price of boxes. Storage, raid prices are the only things I spend coins on. Incubators will only be worth it when eggs arent random (I never buy incubators). Star pieces are nice but those are often given in rewards and xp is irrelevant after 40 so if you play often they aren’t worth buying.
My math is if the raid passes are 250 for 3, the box has to be better then that without the filler items, if not don’t buy. Remote raid passes are too expensive and should only be bought on special occasions or if you can’t travel. Overall raid passes and storage should be the only things your coins should go towards. Anything else and you are wasting coins.
why are you against my favourite box? 3,100 coins for 20 battle passes (50 coins each) and 30 regular incubators (70 coins each).
What I do is calculate the discount on my own, the percentage the game shows doesn't interest me because sometimes it's discounting items I don't consider premium or I don't want, so here's my calculation:
Value of each item if bought directly from the store (no bundle):
(this only includes the items I personally am interested in, I don't value Incense or Poffins for example, but the logic is the same for them)
Raid Pass: 83.33
Remote Raid Pass: 175.00
Incubator: 150.00
Super Incubator: 150.00 (I personally do not value the Super Incubator as more valuable, but you can change this to 200 if you do)
Lucky Egg: 62.50
Star Piece: 80.00
Pokemon Space: 200.00 (Free to play players sometimes are in dire need of these, so don't ignore them)
Item Space: 200.00 (Same reason as Pokemon Space)
Look at the box and do the following calculation:
(I'll be using "NO+<Item Name>" as the quantity of an item in the bundle)
NO-Raid Pass * 83.33 = a
NO-Remote Raid Pass * 175 = b
NO-Incubator * 150 = c
NO-Super Incubator * 150 = d
NO-Lucky Egg * 62.5 = e
NO-Star Piece * 80 = f
NO-Pokemon Space * 200 = g
NO-Item Space * 200 = h
a + b + c + d + e + f + g + h = total value of the box (If bought from the store directly)
Now we're going to factor in the cost of the bundle:
(Cost of the bundle) / (Total value of the box) => This is going to give us how much we're paying for the items in relation to their normal store price. Here's an example:
2880 coin box with 30 Raid passes + 10 Lucky Eggs + 10 Star Pieces
30 * 83.33 = 2500 (Raid Pass)
10 * 62.50 = 625 (Lucky Egg)
10 * 80.00 = 800 (Star Piece)
2500 + 625 + 800 = 3925
2880 / 3925 = 0.73, meaning a 27% discount.
The store markets it as a 40% discount, why? Because they're factoring in the purchase cost of 1 Raid Pass, 1 Lucky Egg and 1 Star Piece individually, not the "discounted" price that is in the market at all times. Each Raid Pass is being counted as if they were 100 coins, Lucky Eggs as 80 coins and Star Pieces as 100 coins which I don't consider them to be the real price. The easiest thing to do is to just have an Excel Spreadsheet that you input the number of items into if you don't want to calculate everything every time, but once or twice is not the end of the world too. Hope this helps. 😄
My favourite option for the budget raider is 3 green passes and 2 blue passes for 425 coins. Boost your green passes while getting a few remotes. Also being under 1000 coins is great

running out of video ideas I see
Hi Brandon me and Deb my wife met you last summer when you came to Ottawa on your tour. In January Deb suddenly could not walk she was diagnosed with Spinal stenosis which is narrowing of the spine. So she is confined to a bed and plays pokemon as much as she can from the bed. She is pretty depressed these days but I try to keep her spirits up. There was supposed to be a Government Grant but they are no longer taking any applications. So the wheelchair cost 13 thousand the government agreed to pay 75% leaveing a cost of 4 thousand. So we have not yet been able to get it for her. As for pokemon when do you think they will raise the lvl to 60. I have talked to a few people and they seem to think it will be in the fall seing it has been 5 years i think it's time!
New challenge- delete a shiny everything Brandon says sorry 😅
i know it's probably not the best place to do this but i'm looking for someone who can invite me to Stretchy form Tatsugiri raid (Asia pacific region). I'm from Europe and Stretchy is the only form i'm missing. So if anyone frpm that region can add me to friends (9477 7039 2180) and RSVP me to Stretchy form Tatsugiri i would be very grateful. Thank you in advance
Ty
7000 incubator(100 incubators) box and 5400 raid pass (99 passes) are the only boxes I bother with. Unless I need remotes…
Haha, imagine promoting being a gaming whale when 90% of your audience are children. Great role model…
I never use the passes so not worth it
