I thought it would be fun to make some pokemon with unused type combos, so here's my attempt at a normal/rock type. Normal is a tricky type to design because a lot of pokemon that seem like they should or could get the normal typing don't have it. Rockruff and Lycanroc in particular seemed like perfect potential to be normal/rock. I could see Jaspurr and Panterra working for pure rock or rock/dark, but I think normal/rock fits just fine.
Despite appearances, Jaspurr isn't made from rock. Rather, they simply have a tough skin with fur that blends in with the patterns on rock walls in the caves they live in. They can stay perfectly still, leading to some archaeologists mistaking Jaspurr with old carved sculptures.
Panterra is a great partner for spelunkers or miners who need to travel deep into caverns. They are adept at jumping from rock to rock, even able to balance on top of a single stalagmite. They are known to lead rescue teams to people lost in caves.
