I'm making a region that raises awareness for animals in the Ryukyus that are either culturally important or endangered/threatened/extinct.
Based on the Iriomote Cat, the Ryukyuan regional version of Purrloin and Liepard follows the trend of Ursaluna, where it normally has an evolution, but there's a unique outlier on a remote island.
Iriomote is that remote island away from Okinawa, and instead of the typical Fairy-type Liepard that is slightly more domesticated, you can find a much bigger, wilder, and more dangerous version out on the uninhabited island. (This is canon for Usraluna, too)
