Thank God one of the three Chatot I hatched back during Sinnoh Tour was a shiny.
What is going on with that guy’s research? He has a blue bonus research with a muk silhouette, never seen that before.
Already got my Spinda and Chatot shinies
I had lots of Chatot spawns for the first half hour, then not as many in the second half hour. It’s just random. (And I got a shiny! ✨)
Do it Tuesday as the next event will give 4x stardust. Audino will be sweet
I caught a total of 42 Chatots in three hours, no shiny.
Little update, day 2: Yesterday I was walking around in the park, today I was sitting in the middle of a 5 pokéstop cluster and managed to catch 70 Chatots!! Still no shiny though, but I feel like it's better not to move around.
I managed to shiny chatot on the second check
it only works for normal lures not any other types im pretty sure which sucks
Had four pokestops all together and did those for an hour, about 25 chatots and no shiny
1st chatot spawn was a shiny for me!! I was screaming, hahaha 🙂
I got lucky and nabbed a Shiny Chatot yesterday in Queensland, Australia
Still bothers me we couldnt get the "special" spawn with adventure time incense or regular incense.
Back in 2019 there was a Lotad Research Day, I got off of work early just to get it, at the same time Castform had his shiny debute, 0 Shiny Lotads, but 3 Shiny Castforms. Since that day every Lotad I have seen has been shiny checked by me, no trades I decided to catch it by myself. I Hatched shiny Chatot on last year Fest, but decided to stay and use my Lures just to Catch some for potential trades. I did not got Shiny Chatot, but something more amazing for me happened. After 6 Years of waiting, when I almost lost all hope I finally got him on my own, my one, pure, one star, terrible IV SHINY LOTAD!
LET MY CASE BE A REMINDER THAT A PATIENT ONE CAN BOIL EVEN A STONE! So keep grinding and You will reach Your goals!

Honestly, In two hours I got about 23 chatot from 10 stops in a very small park. While walking, I definitely missed some that popped up at different stops. Another trainer got about the same in the same park.
can u get the field reserch for spinda only when the stop is with lure or just u spin and can get it?

I didnt know chatot was a rare shiny i casually checked and i got 3 shiny chatot in my collection
If you placed a lure at 4:59pm it would have lasted 3 hours with just one.
I hit a excellent throw on audino got 2,625 dust and 12 candy
I don't know what the bad news is about Chatot but I did not get one yesterday. Starpiece Audino was 3937 as I screenshot that for sure. I caught a shiny Audino in the last 2 minutes of the game. No ✨sparkles appeared for Audino nor Jigglystuff but their unique colors did show up. I did try to go into AR mode and come back… Nothing
From 19th July to 21st July, I have caught 150 Spinda and out of them 5 were Shiny Spinda.
There’s no way it’s 1/64. Highly doubt this. I have a group on Facebook from across the world and zero of them have gotten one.
The restricted time is the worst bit about this!
I wish I knew about the refresh time as on the first day I lost a chatot spawn due to how quickly it rolled over, hopefully that wasn't the one
