For a while, I've been making a sort of joke/meme fakedex based on people/places/things in my life – I wanted to make a regional Lillipup line based on my family's dogs, didn't think much of it beyond that, but they turned out great! Both our dogs have been mutts – Schnauzer/terrier mixes, so Lillipup and Herdier are based on that, I guess. Scruffland turns into a dragon because whenever our old dog would stick his head out of the window of our car and get all windy, we'd remark that he looked like Haku from Spirited Away lol.
