See, G-Max changes the actual form of the Pokemon during Gigantamax, thus, new dex entry because new form
D-Max just makes the Pokemon bigger, no form changes during Dynamax
There’s no need for a D-Max Dex because it’d just be bigger versions of existing Pokemon, whereas G-Max actually changes the Pokemon’s form
Good. I don’t need ANOTHER dex to fill.
I wish we got costumes dex back
It will be a real kick in the pants when they finally roll out a dmax dex and it *doesn’t* scan our existing ones and give us credit for already caught entries.

Notice the Gmax Dex has Unidentified Region (Meltan) in the right place. Why can’t this be fixed in the all species list?

Iirc, the game already has a dmax dex and it is tracking what dmax mons you’ve caught. The dex is just marked as hidden at the moment.
