  1. This evolution line is inspired by Sir Palamedes, a knight of the round table whose story is tied with his hunt for the Questing Beast.

    Questing Beast:

    * A being born through jealousy and demonic pacts. It was said to have the neck of a serpent, body of a leopard, haunches of a lion, and the feet of stag **(design elements)**
    * It was said to be able to poison water by drinking from it **(typing)**
    * Its name is based on the belief that it produced the same sound as thirty hunting dogs barking. Middle English “questen” means both a bark and a hunt **(ability)**

    Sir Palamedes

    * A knight who had a one-sided rivalry and deep jealousy of the knight Sir Tristan **(green eyes of both evolution)**
    * A large part of his story focuses on the theme of conversion: Originally Saracen, he is only able to defeat the Questing Beast once he converts to Christianity **(drastic change in its evolution, from the classic Questing Beast in the first form to the switching of its halves in the second form)**.

You are so in tune with the official style. These are both incredible!

Awesome! I locked IN on the questing beast when I read this back in grade school. I loved the concept and always hated it wasn’t represented in more media. 12 year old me is kicking their little feet and giggling rn

This feels like the type of Fakemon that if it would real would make me go “this playthrough I’m not going to use Sirquester. I’m going out of my comfort zone and using new stuff and no Sirquester” only to end up with one any way

  5. Sirquester might be my new favorite pokemon.

    Fantastic work, my friend!
