I just opened my recent purchase of a Pokémon gold cartridge.After having defeated Lance and I'm pretty sure it's a reproduction and it saves. BUT, it has no coin battery whatsoever. It has a location for 1 and it does save but after the battle would Lance and it saves my Pokémon to the champion hall.It just resets to the just before the fight with Lance. I'll attach a photo so you can see what I mean by how the cartridge looks
