Pokemon

I had some fun creating displays of all my teams over the years. What do you think of them? Do you recognize the origins of some of the nicknames/entire teams’ nicknaming schemes?

I used Mega Flygon’s design from Pokemon Insurgence, in the last picture. All the other sprites are from their specific games, from HOME, or from Go.

    Very cool. The jump from sprites to 3D models was so jarring lol

    It’s so easy to forget the visual jump from the GB/GBC to GBA, and how we’re never going to have a jump like that again. (I know 2D to 3D happened, but it just translated the designs, and we’d seen pokémon in 3d before)

    Most all my teams are dog teams, but I’m also super biased towards dog type Pokémon 🤣

    You have some wild teams. Mad respect. I’m always too scared to use some cool designs because of garbage stats. Maybe this will inspire me to give it a go

    I’ve been watching the Japanese Indigo League so I recognise the Japanese team names, very nice 😉
