Canyon Evolutions

#096 Gushtero [Normal] – Fast Lizard Pokemon

“A rather agile Pokemon which makes its home in the Fossilized Canyon, if a predator managed to get a hold of its tail this Normal-type can simply detach it. It has a unique DNA structure allowing it to evolve in 3 different species.”

#097 Lacertagilis [Normal/Ground] – Sand Rusher Pokemon

“One of the Gushtero's evolution, it's extremely agile and fast on any kind of terrain but it reaches the highest speeds on dry ground and sand. This Pokemon is the reason most Bug types create colonies in fortified and hard to breach places.” [Evolves from Gushtero when levels-up near "Sandy Pits"]

#098 Walacerta [Normal/Rock] – Wall Pokemon

“Its body mimics canyon walls with exposed fossils for protection against predators. It has a frantic disposition which can cause problems with training one.” [Evolves from Gushtero when levels-up near any exposed fossil walls in the Fossilized Canyon]

#099 Occelizard [Normal/Psychic] – Eyed Pokemon

“It has multiple eye patterns on its body which deters predators. It's unknown why predators refuse to prey on them due to the eye patterns, either through confusion on where to strike or the multitude of eyes actually scare the predators.” [Evolves from Gushtero when levels-up near "Wall Eyes"]

#100 Tarbone [Ghost] – Tar Pokemon

“Formerly thought to be a regional or convergent species of Grimer, this pitch-black liquid Pokemon is found only in the Fossilized Canyon. They appear from under the ground where they immediately search for fossils to use as armor against the sun.”

#101 Frendtar [Ghost/Rock] – Tar Creature Pokemon

“Despite its eerie appearance, its actually a pretty friendly species that often protects its trainer with the tar-covered bone armor of its body. Just don't get hug by it, the tar stains can remain on clothes for months.” [Evolves from Tarbone with Max Friendship]

#102 Petrossilis [Ghost/Dark] – Fossil Monster Pokemon

“It camouflages itself as a puddle of tar with bones sticking out to attract scavengers who believe there's some meat left on the bones, before Petrossilis swallows the unaware prey whole adding the bones to its armor and collection. There's cases where trainers who used to have Petrossilis ending up being part of the bones themselves.” [Evolves from Tarbone with Low Friendship]
