It's interesting that Genesect's different forms via held items might still be separate Pokemon catches, unless they overhaul that as well.
Heh, I used to think that the winner of the "Pokemon GO World championship" should receive some sort of perk of their choice, exclusively tied to their account.
A second infinite incubator was one of the "perks" to choose from.
I think it would be an interesting idea IMO, and an extra incentive to participate.

The main games got so lazy with the mechanics of genesect, arceus, and silvally. Having to hold an item to change type is a tired gimmick lol…especially now that we have Tera types.
The incubator could be a seasonal bonus.
Worth noting that Duraludon has a gigantamax form, but it also has an evolution in Archaludon, who may be better as dynamax than gigantamax duraludon :pp
They better release Gigantamax Duraldon on Memorial weekend in September. So we can roleplay with latios against it. Pleassseeee make it happen.
silvally is actually a huge deal because it uses essentially the same mechanic that arceus does. which means that if they figured out how to implement silvally, arceus will probably be coming soon
also, i perfectly guessed the purpose of that new timed infinite incubator… just gonna pat myself on the back for that one
