  1. Fun fact: They actually accounted for this when joining other people's raids in the base game.

All Pokemon Cut will be scaled down to a certain level with the minimum being 20. And yes, that means It's possible to have any raid Pokemon at level 20. Even Pokemon that you shouldn't have a level 20. Like any pseudo-legendary.

  2. I just started sword (again, i played till the six badge like 7 times but couldn't bring myself to play it further) but now i have a zorua… before entering the wild area

Wish me luck so i can finally force myself to play this to the end

  3. I was doing an ice type, only run in sword, and I had the dlc, I got lucky and rolled Kyreum… now Im planning to rekt through everyone with it

  4. Fun fact: if you enter the wild area and enact the cutscene with Sonia, then immediately leave and go to the DLC areas, you don't have camera controls. I found this out the hard way

  5. I ran into this while playing Scarlet. Due to putting off finishing the main game I started The Teal Mask, saw that the Pokémon were in the level 10s, and promptly decided to catch a new Team for the DLC so I didn't just sweep everything with my level 70 mons and could actually catch stuff that didn't get into Quick Balls. Most of it wasn't an issue, but then I ran into the sidequests. Which were not scaled down. Cue me trying to beat a level 66 Persian with a twenty-something Team, which I only managed thanks to 6 Sand Attacks and inflicting a burn. Same thing with the first if those Oni trainers I ran into (I lost that battle). I wish that had been a warning, especially since that Persian trainer didn't have any indication that they were difficult relative to my level.
For The Indigo Disk, I'm just going to level my mons like crazy because there's no other way I can beat these competitive Team trainers

  6. I still love that i joined another person for my first raid adventure and my first because of it was a Latios it was so cool

  7. On my other accounts I instantly go to the ground tundra and get 5 legendaries and a level 100 starter before the first gym

  8. Men cuddling together isn’t gay, it’s super gay. To be fair I spooned with a men in the Army. Not because I wanted to, but so I don’t freeze to death. Also we were packed in a tight space like sardines.

  9. Funnily you actually CAN beat Peony before the first gym. I know, because i did it, not knowing that you are allowed to lose. All you need is some(at least 2) Drifloon from the wild area with Aftermath. Just keep reviving the other one until Peony is down, he only has 2 mons. You should have enough money to buy the revives.

  10. What if you level a Pokémon too high in SV? Does it start to disobey you if you don't have enough badges? Or is that only if you catch them at too high of a level? I don't play these shitty games so I need to know from someone who wasted their money on them

  11. So your telling me that could just go to the get any Pokemon from there at the start of the game so I can play though the hole game with my favorite yvetal

  12. When I was playing Scarlet and violet I was getting kind of mad. Took so long but I'm grateful it did cuz a lot of me enjoy the game more with sword and shield. They did it perfect too. It was really fun playing all those games before the big fight cuz I was just trained by pokémon to be really strong anyway so they saved me a lot of time

  13. common misconception about obedience: pokemon with your ot will ALWAYS obey you regardless of their level and how many badges you have while traded or mystery gift pokemon will disobey you at certain levels

  14. I restarted shield recently to get Regidraco, Glastrier and an extra Calyrex (since I traded mine away for an Iron Crown in the GTS). I did exactly this, got a Lunala and Suicune from the dynamax adventures, but it felt horrible. So I boxed them, grabbed my starter and just did it the vanilla way.

Just before the 6th gym however, I wanted a change of pace so I went to the Isle of Armor, only to find out that everything there is around level 10-20 whereas my team was already hitting 40. So I boxed everything again, caught some wild mons and grabbed the Alolan Meowth from the diglett man and started an Isle of Armor run.

Now when I switch between mainline Galar and IoA, I switch teams back and forth. It takes some discipline but keeps the challenge alive!
