Just bought Ultra Moon from someone else, and they had this shiny event Victini on their save file. Is it legal?

genned mons if done right have almost no difference.
i do see the markings are filled out though, which is what alot of genning programs do to let you know what the IVs got set to.
genned mons usually have no issues, a hacked mon is usually illegal, bad stats/moveset

It’s possibly legit from the Sept. 2016 event that ORAS saw but hard telling for sure

Shiny Victini, to my knowledge, has never been given out. Ever. So this is 100% hacked.

Illegal. I’m not sure how questionable Home’s original checks were but I somehow got my hacked shiny Victini and Volcanion transferred over when home first dropped. (Needless to say I deleted them before they became bad eggs)
