I hope they don't release level 60 anytime soon. No doubt they'll increase the Pokemon max levels to 60 too, the game is a continuous horrible grind
Unless we are getting like 300-500 candies per raid win the expectation to power it up than this is outrageous. I dont even think it will be the top in either of its raid categories.
No, it's not gonna be level 60. It means Eternatus will probably be available at tier 60 of the max finale go pass… It would be weird if they announced something that big in an announcement of an event.
Most are 48-50 in most raids rarely see someone under 45. Plus I am in a sort of rural area so I think 60 should be seen soon. As a level to actually strive for like it was in the beginning.
Something hinted at in an official release is not a “leak”. It’s also referring to Eternatus being available at rank 60 of the pass, not level 60. Everyone spamming “omg level 60” is just clickbaiting at this point.

Like the ideal of training Pokemon to level 60. And for the trainer's level, to make thing fun, maybe it requires to collect separate amount of XP instead of automatically completed with current XP that one has.
Keep in mind – Level50 came out in 2021. I could see it being next year. Another 5 years after.

I personally think what they should do is they should release lv55 in a few months and then maby half a year to 3/4 ths of a year later they should release lv60
Making a clear divide between 50-60 in the trailer knowing the importance of those numbers + not releasing level 60 would absolutely stupid choice for a trailer i believe they should just release level 50.5/60 and have them pokemon have a mark and add a new pvp league where Pokemon above level 50 can be used. (Anything above would be temporarily brought to level 50) For example a tier after master league called champion league or something. That way GL/UL/ML isn’t affected and we can still use the Pokemon
Maybe I've missed something, and it was also a question from a young colleague of mine: but when people bought the go fest tickets earlier this year (global or in-person) and apart from the ultra unlock stuff, doet that ticket award something else for this Finale event?

I think its level 60. The video stopped counting at 50 before it continued onto 60. And the font is the same as the levels. It's gonna be an unlock.

Still wondering why they haven’t added pokemon level as in actually displaying it and making it single upgrades instead of 2 for 1 level up there are so much quality of life changes that haven’t been added that they need to do before even thinking about lvl 60 😂
Showing number 60 and the next image is literally Eternatus, while we already know we will get Eternatus from the GO Pass, it makes sense, judging from the video, we will get Eternatus at rank 60.

I don't want level 60! I've been grinding for over 8 years and I just got to level 49. Besides, 50 is a nice, satisfying number when 60 is not. Having level 60 as a new max level would be so dumb. AND! When Lv 50 Pokémon are only like 5% stronger than Lv 40 Pokémon, grinding for a Lv 60 Pokémon would be a massive waste of resources since it would net even less returns.
The only way I would ever accept that is if from level 50 onwards, all Pokémon gave minimum 1000 XP, 1000 SD, 10 candies and 5 XL candies always, and evolved and legendary Pokémon giving 2 and 3 times more respectfully. Kinda like a perma buff as a reward for getting to level 50. Grinding would be much better if we just got a lot more stuff from catching.
And on the side note, even if this has nothing to do with the video, we need at least two more infinite use incubators! It would make a lot of sense to give one extra on level 40 and another one at level 50. Like, why do we not have more?

Player's Levels will be raised to 60, but not POkémon's levels. The latter would completely annihilate all the Pokémon we've been building for years for GBL. When the increase from lvl 40 to lvl 50 was implemented (for both Player & Pokémon at the same time), GBL was in its infancy, and it messed up only a limited number of Pokémon people had started building.
