Had this for years but never really got a backstory. Curious if any new info has surfaced in the past 6 years?

I used to be a high level collector in the 2010s but only have a bit of my collection left. I don’t even really remember where I got this, maybe old school Yahoo Japan, but I’ve had it for years now. Never really was able to figure out why it exists though!
