The gift increase for the paid version is surprisingly awful. I figured it might replace the normal three-month tickets that give gift increases but it’s basically mostly covered on the free track, so I don’t see the value in it

If the incubator acted as a super incubator maybe I’d consider it. Also it’d be nice if they charged rewards instead of recycling the same items and bonuses.

If you maximize your points every day (200 for the daily task and 250 point limit), you can have the incubator by day five; earlier if you also complete the weekly tasks in the first couple days of the pass. That gives 37ish days of an infinite use incubator since you can use it until 10/14.
If you solely use it for 2ks and walk at least 4k/day, you can open roughly 74 2k eggs over the course of the pass. Will need to see the full egg pools before making choices here, but for the way I play the game this is a pretty okay deal to me!

Damn, those encounters look pretty lame. I mean, Snow and Bombirdier are fine (Skiddo, too). But other than those three, the remaining encounters (including Cobalion), look meh.

I see the times incubator is actually in step 20, not the one at 99. So if what’s in eggs was decent, this wouldn’t be terrible. However…

Just did some math. Assuming you only buy incubators with the 7000 bundle and buy the $100 pokecoins in the webstore, excluding all other bonuses, the timed incubator could be worth it if you intend to hatch 47 or more extra eggs. Its an easy skip for me.

Purchasing this will probably be contingent upon the steel skyline event. The pass barely breaks even as is and if I have to sit on the max particles (why are they particles instead of particle packs?) til gmax garbodor comes out they’ll probably be used to power up a Wooloo.

They should give us a bottle cap, a lucky trinket, and a monthly timed incubator for the same price, then everyone who isn’t 100% free-to-play would definitely buy it.

Typically I can at least get excited for the Pokémon encounters in this pass, but holy hell these ones are awful. Meowth and Trubbish are super common spawns and Dynamax Trubbish isn’t good, Burmy is whatever, the Ice-type Female Rocket Grunt frequently gives Alolan Vulpix, anyone who’s played even a little bit over the past few months probably has a good IV Slowpoke, Staryu, and Krabby (plus you’d probably want a Gmax Kingler anyways) since they were either research rewards or featured spawns.
Even the better Pokemon aren’t the best given that Feebas had a community day a few months back and Bagon was a featured spawn relatively recently.
