Is it worth even trying to hit 50?

Asking for my sister. She JUST hit lvl 49. She has time to put in the effort to attempt hit 50 before the level change, but id it worth trying?
Are the odds good making it, if she puts all the effort in?
I know I took months to do that level myself, but I was in no rush. There will be exp events (she dies gifts with lucky egg boost)
