Hey everyone, I am working on a Legendary Fakemon design inspired by the NFL team the Steelers (planning on doing the whole NFL). The concept is meant to combine the toughness of steelworkers with a Legendary vibe.
(This is also my first time going into Fakemon, I have drawn pokemon in the past but nothing from memory like this)
Concept idea: Steelorion
– Black and gold armor to match the Steelers iconic colors
– Seven starts across its armor to represent the 6 super bowl wins
– white belt with the diamond colors for the logo
inspiration was from the industrial/steelworker roots of Pittsburgh, with me trying to mix in a heroic silhouette of a legendary pokemon (tried to go around with the Gen V designs)
This is just some pose and helmet/head variations I have sketched but I am wondering:
1. Do these designs feel Pokemon enough?
2. Any suggestions on tweaks or features to make it stand out more?
3. If not Pokemon like how can I get it there?
