Circulating PC cancellations for botted orders may have been faked

According to pokebeach:

"It remains unclear if the Pokemon Center cancelled the early orders. In private messages shown to PokeBeach, one of the group's admins told another staff member, "Just tell everyone [the orders] got cancelled so people stop talking about it." Shortly after, screenshots began to circulate of alleged cancelled orders."

I'm truly hoping they were cancelled but at this point I don't really have that much trust in PC
